All new purchases, commissions, and remodelling jobs are covered under Jody Cory Goldsmiths manufacturing guarantee for one year from the date of purchase/collection. However, if a piece of jewellery is noticeably bent, shows improper care, or is damaged in any other manner, repairs will be performed at a cost to the customer. Normal wear and tear, loss and theft and accidental damage are not covered under the one year guarantee. Please see the repairs section for information on how any repairs undertaken are covered.

Items purchased from Jody Cory Goldsmiths are eligible for an exchange or for same value gift vouchers (valid for one year) provided they are returned within 30 days of purchase with a valid receipt. Items must be returned in the original condition with no signs of damage or wear. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on any items that have been altered, resized or any made to order pieces. We will not be able to issue refunds on items unless it has been deemed faulty by one of our Goldsmiths. We are also unable to issue refunds on earrings due to hygiene reasons. 

Due to the fluctuation of precious metal and Gemstone prices, we can guarantee all quotations will be valid for 30 days from the date of issue and are based upon information given. We keep a record of quotations for six years, please contact us if you would like your quote revised with up to date prices.

With Bath Abbey as the view from our window, Jody Cory jewellery is handmade by highly skilled Goldsmiths, on site, in the heart of Bath. Many pieces of our jewellery are one of a kind and often made to order. For this reason, new commissions and remodelling jobs can take 6-8 weeks.  Please be advised that during our busier times this may be a little longer but we do our utmost to work with your timeframe and always complete orders as soon as possible. 

If you have left it a little late, or require your order for a specific date, please talk to us and we will do everything we can to meet your deadline.  Work on any custom piece of jewellery will commence once a deposit has successfully been received - Typically this is 50% of the total cost. 

Our teams of highly skilled Goldsmiths can repair almost any item - should the item be beyond repair, we will suggest a variety of options to make your piece of jewellery wearable again. We will happily take on repairs on pieces of jewellery that were not originally made in our workshop however, we are not responsible for the original craftsmanship of the piece and any manufacturing faults of the original piece or any wear and tear on the item. Repairs in our workshop are typically covered for one year unless our Goldsmiths advise otherwise, you will be notified of this prior to any work commencing.  Please note that any work undertaken is done so at your own risk. 

If you have purchased a beautiful ring from Jody Cory Goldsmiths that requires resizing, this can be done prior to collection or at a later date subject to agreeing this with staff. Rings that need to be made smaller will be resized free of charge, rings that need to be made bigger and therefore require additional materials will incur a charge.

In the case that a customer supplies materials for a repair or remodelling job we cannot be held responsible for the quality of the metal supplied. We will, however, do our best to advise you of the situation upon inspection of the materials.

Any scrap Gold, Platinum or Palladium left over from the creation of a piece of jewellery or repair may be priced at the daily scrap price and deducted from the final cost of the job. This will be done at the Goldsmiths discretion. 

We try to ensure all pricing on our website is accurate at the time of publishing, however these are subject to change without notice. Whilst we make every effort to avoid errors in the very rare occasion that information is displayed incorrectly, we will not honour inaccurate prices. 

We cannot guarantee all photography on our website is a true representation of the item as we cannot control your monitor's representation of our jewellery, please keep this in mind when browsing jewellery with coloured gemstones.
